Either we're obsessed with it, running to the doctor for every little sniffle, or we avoid doctors like the plague. My wife and I were definitely in the latter group. I'm glad Excalibur made the appointment for you. Embolisms are ticking time bombs. Thank god yours is being defused.

I've probably now gone from one extreme to the other. I had the paramedics come and check out my cold and slightly tingly feet
To be fair I rang a non-emergency number
Advice from Avi: If you have persistent chest pain, no matter how mild, go your ASS to ER (or A&E)
