What is the metallic content of feces? Cannoli Send a noteboard - 27/08/2017 06:02:51 PM

I've been wondering for over a quarter of a century, how it is supposed to set off a metal detector. I was under the impression that those things are based off of magnets, and that non-magnetic metals like lead need a higher content to do so, but I can't imagine any circumstances under which fecal matter would activate a detector.

Maybe John McClane isn't as clever as he thinks he is?

I suppose if you ate metal it would be high. Otherwise, about the same as your body. - 27/08/2017 06:11:08 PM 308 Views
I agree. It must largely depend upon diet. - 27/08/2017 06:34:52 PM 314 Views
"Hey Carmine, what sets off the metal detector 1st, the lead in your ass or the shit in your head?" - 27/08/2017 08:05:11 PM 288 Views
Yeah. That... makes no sense. *NM* - 27/08/2017 08:16:34 PM 195 Views
