I jpeg is something you look out and maybe show a couple friends or post on facebook. A post card from your son's trip to Europe with his girlfriend where they couch surfed and slept in hostels is something you put in a shoebox in the closet and show to their kids in a couple of decades.
I was being flippant with the link comment but think of it as real books versus ebooks. I like ebooks and buy them more often than real books but it still isn't the same as having the actual book in your hand. I have paper books that I would never part with, not true for ebooks, they are infinitely replaceable.,
