Regarding cinematography The Shrike Send a noteboard - 28/09/2017 02:32:18 AM

The main character is unrealistic and unlikable, the writing was bad, the acting was worse, the cinematography was awkward, and it felt less like STAR TREK than it did BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

Now, in fairness, pretty much every STAR TREK series has had a terrible pilot, so I'll keep watching for now. But I'm not happy with really any of what I saw.

My favorite reddit comment about ST was "My god the klingons weaponized the lens flair"
