And I am a bit worried about what they will try to do to source material. Will it get the GOT effect and create an abomination like Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit'?

Of course I will watch at least one episode. But I am very, very afraid. More afraid of this than the clowns with the red balloons.

Though who knows, maybe they are actually making The Silmarilion That would be epic if they could succeed in bringing it to screen.

I love and adore LOTR, but unless you adapt something like Silmarillion I am fearing the Spider-man Movie effect.

There is so much good fantasy and sci fi out there, you do not need to keep returning to Tolkien.
