Not fighting is the win. Over here we give the kids to mother unless she utterly unfit then look at fathers as piggy banks. When I first got out of the Marines I struggled to buy my kid's school clothes because she wouldn't and I was giving most of my money to her. The court said as long as they have clothes that all that mattered.

Wow, that is sucky. Of course it probably helps here that Sweden has long prided itself for our equality, and we have few stay-at-home-mothers after the kids turn two or three. Well expanded daycare and long parental leave (with three months reserved for each parent) helps getting women back working and out of the presumption that they should by default the primary caretaker
