The Walking Dead "The Key to the Future" S08E12 spoilers... Tweak Send a noteboard - 09/04/2018 04:22:46 AM

Yes yes, I'm still watching the Walking Dead...not out of any interest in the show, it's become quite boring but more out of a completionist thing. Plus I have alot of spare time to have junk tv on in the background.

Anyways in a recent episode there was a scene I found interesting. A woman shows up and offers to sell them the "Key to the Future" which is "a book of medieval human achievement so that we may have a future from our past."

Everything from wind mills, water wheels, refine grain and cloth etc to rebuild a community without using modern tech.

This strikes me as something that would be cool to have irl. Both as a curiosity and also in the (un?)likely chance we experience some civilization ending event (Nuclear war, Carrington Event, etc).

Does anyone know of such a book like this that could be purchased?
