View original postObviously he wasn't the sole decision maker but he was a prominent investigator. He was dismissed from the investigation in August 2017 and reassigned to human resources, an obvious demotion, but these texts weren't made public until today.


View original postI'm not sure about these exact texts you quoted, but some texts between him and Page that made clear their political bias have been in the media since a good number of months. Not that that really matters.

View original postNot all of Comey's questionable decisions were in Clinton's favour, as you may recall. And while I wouldn't say it's any wonder exactly, considering who's in the White House, that doesn't make it any less nonsensical to call it a witch hunt. The impression I get from the report, or in any case from Gowdy's conclusions on it, is that the Clinton investigation was handled in an irregular and less rigorous than normal way - but not that there was anything wrong with the Russia investigation.
