The odds of passing an amendment are so close to zero that it doesn't matter and the law suite is a joke because A you can't sue the courts and B if you did it would just end up back for them to decide. There will be a lot of noise and probably a few riots and many many vagina hats but in the end the left is going to end up regretting their push for judicial legislation because they are three heart beats away from losing the courts for the next twenty years.

The left will need to consider it a win if they can keep it at the state level and not have the federal government pass a nation wide ban. Seeing that they can't pass anything that one is doable.
