This would normally be where I say "but you Catholic heretics need to come back to the true Church and accept that only Ecumenical Councils can make statements concerning the faith", but in the Orthodox Communion we now have a situation where the Patriarch of Constantinople is trying to act like a bloody Pope and tyrant and so the Russian Church (and a few others) are likely to sever ties with Constantinople, the first schism within Orthodoxy.
