My favorite gimlet recipe:
Pour out 6 ounces of vodka from a full 750 ml bottle (use for something else)
Replace with 6 ounces of Rose's Lime Juice and a splash of water
Shake two or three times to mix and store in the freezer overnight
To serve, pour into a martini glass and serve straight up
This is an extremely easy way to make the equivalent of a pitcher of gimlets. There's no ice to melt and water it down and the martini glass will instantly frost over as soon as you pour.
