Is it possible to dislike Soros and his policies without being accused of dog whistling to anti-semites? It should be so. There are plenty of perfectly good reasons for disliking positions he supports that have nothing to do with his ethnicity.

As to your Houston politician, was he recirculating the bogus claims that Soros was a Nazi or simply attacking his policies? If the former then he deserved the response but not if it was the latter.
