We need to get away from the idea that only the political class insiders should be eligible to run. I'd rather have billionaires running themselves, rather than buying politicians.

I don't patronize Starbucks, because I don't drink coffee, and I don't like their hot chocolate. Also, I don't care that they exist or have so many stores. I do have a degree of contempt for how the whole company bent over and presented over that arrest scandal a while back. I don't know what, if anything, he had to do with that.

So let him run, find out where he stands on philosophies and issues. Treat people like real candidates, and stop promulgating this myth that you need experience knuckling under to the special interests and knowing the sacred cows of the political scene.
