Yeah, that's the kind of principled objection I was talking about - even if it was clearly proven that Medicare for All was realistically achievable and would in fact offer equally good or better national health statistics while coming at a net saving for the USA as a whole, which I don't think it is, you'd probably still object to it on general principle as you explain here. Which is fair enough, it just bugs me when people use lazy bogus arguments in this kind of debate. Especially when it's people who should know better, like the author of that op-ed.
