I find it to be adult programming at its best. Season 1 is perfect in my opinion. The other seasons have some convoluted plot sometimes but it doesn't matter: you watch it for how it makes you feel. And it often makes me feel bad, but in a good way

I've never really been much of a TV watcher, usually too unwilling to sit down at programmed times to watch something, but I recently bought a nice 4K TV and am cord cutting (Youtube TV, Netflix at the moment, likely to add Amazon Prime when the new Tolkien series comes out next year). I've had a co-worker/very close friend introduce me to Sons of Anarchy (Season 1 was awesome, will watch the others over the next month or two) and The Office. Watched and was moved by the first season of Thirteen Reasons Why. Got a DVD of The Terror to watch later. Also started watching the Youtube series Cobra Kai, which has the potential to be a guilty pleasure. Oh, and I'll eventually finish Game of Thrones.

So with that info, I'm curious which other shows in a similar vein that I should investigate. Preference is more for things I can stream or easily get the DVDs used.
P.S. Just started watching Stranger Things as I was typing this, as my siblings seem to be talking about it.
