You don't think the USA has anything to offer to Iceland or Denmark to help them with their problems? You don't think Iceland has anything to offer the USA?

Yeah. Just because you can't see or understand how this would affect Iceland, Denmark, and USA.. it makes the whole thing "inappropriate". Interesting.

You're talking about the country that more people want to move to than any other nation in the world. Why would Iceland want to become part of this great nation? There is great strategic value (economic and military) to having free access to Iceland for the USA. Seems like it would be a win win for Denmark, USA, and for Iceland.
