It was not approved. There was no fast track. There is a need for actual trials, which are underway, by the way.
He's the President of the fucking country. He gets a daily briefing to tell the public about the crisis. Why do you think his words won't have consequences? Why is he allowed to babble absolute nonsense when he is supposed to defer to experts and lead the country, not cause more harm?
