I made her scratch cinnamon rolls for breakfast, which can't really be a surprise because I prep them for baking the night before. They are her favorite, but she usually gives herself a tummy ache because she can't stop eating them, and today she doesn't even have the 9-hour 'break' she usually gets from going to work. Oh, well.
I wish I could eat wheat once again like a child.
Did you ever try Bubble Bread / Monkey Bread? It is made with those biscuits in those rolls canisters. You take the dough make them into smaller balls and you shake cinnamon around the smaller balls. Followed by putting it into a bread tin and making more cinnamon and butter glaze on it. Then you bake it. It was one of my favorites as a child.
