And yeah, I actually paused the movie in the scene on the balcony in Alexander's mansion because I was confused, eventually concluding that there couldn't possibly be any mansion in Edinburgh from where you could have that view. The huge concert hall's location made even less sense but was also pretty blatantly fake. Nevertheless, Edinburgh is gorgeous and it made me long to go back there.

I do have to say, though, they could at least have restricted their medley during the party to actual Eurovision songs. Maybe Cher and Madonna might be considered honourary Eurovision artists at a stretch, what with being gay icons, but the Black Eyed Peas? Seriously?
