My dog was a hurricane refugee, chased out of Alabama because the shelters here wanted to make room for Katrina dogs whose owners might be looking for them, I picked him up in a shelter in Atlanta, then moved him back home.
He's still going, though. Not strong, but still going. Getting soooo old.
That was 15 years ago, right? He is an old timer. Here’s hoping he lasts a while longer.
