He was given a hearing and a vote. He lost 58-42. I don't see why Nixon's rubber stamp deserved a place on the Court. This wasn't retribution, this was objection based on sound legal grounds.
Sure. It's not like they haven't been ludicrously escalating this fight already. What is your alternative? One that would work, I mean. Because a constitutional amendment won't, without Republican support, and that isn't coming.

And so what happens after the Democrats add those seats to SCOTUS? Will you support the Republicans adding seats when they are next in power? Where does it end?
