Maybe this comes off as naïve but I'm just sick of how everyone is so divided. It's exhausting. I've found myself disliking members of my family over politics. And it's not their opinions which I sometimes agree with, it's the smug self assuredness that people on the other side are so dumb. And it's from both sides. That's when you know you need to take a step back.

As a side note, the internet feels rather empty when you try to avoid politics.
