The terms woke and cancel originated in black culture and were gradually incorporated into white culture. The same thing is happening with how they are applied, and not just in pop culture.
Let's take the Georgia election laws, for example. Grandpa Joe pontificated on how he wouldn't blame baseball if they moved the All Star Game out of Atlanta as punishment. And lo and behold, look what happened. They did so 2 days later. Moved it to Denver, CO.
Atlanta: 51% black, 40% white
Denver: <10% black, >70% white
Yep, taking those millions of dollars out of the hands of Atlanta black business owners and handing them to Denver white people should really teach those Georgians a lesson.
