I think on some level I regard this site (and to a degree, the WoT fan community) as a meeting place of parallel universes each one of us inhabits on our own. That any of us meet IRL just seems weird.

I think a year of almost exclusively virtual interaction has made me more amenable than ever to actual human contact.
