I particularly enjoyed this line from the full article on Politico linked below:
"the Biden administration has been relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport."
Perhaps this is an example of outsourcing?
Details matter and I will never be in a direct way to influence the outcome, but the state department said the Politico and earlier Fox News [story was misleading and got details wrong] (the stuff in bracket is my own words and not a quote)
