Fal Dara looks great! And looks like we get to see the Blood Snow and Moiraine (and Siuan?) being raised to Aes Sedai.
It does look like Moiraine pretty much ropes Egwene and Nynaeve into going with her by vaguely saying one of the five of them will be the one to stop Shai'tan. Which, while not very satisfying to me, because it means they're all reluctant heroes now.
Whereas Egwene left because she wanted to and Nynaeve left to follow them, in the books, here they go because they're all being told the fate of the world might rest on them.
I can see where the show doesn't have time for that, and if the Winespring is so serverely damaged as it is in the show, it's hard to see Egwene leaving right away, too.
But we have to be ready for changes like this. There's no way they'll be able to keep the story unchanged.
As long as the major character moments and plot moments play out, and are internally consistent to the on-screen plot, I'll be a happy viewer.
Yes, it's nice to see (efforts of) a proper adaptation that will hopefully tell the best story rather than hold too tightly to the original narrative... as long as they don't stray too far.
I just hope the three oaths were cut down for the trailer only, however. Because those were not the three oaths!
