100% agree with your core premises: that WOT is about choices and communication and the consequences arising therefrom; that badassery, while cool, is not that important; that there is no conflict between what seems to be a fate based belief system and the ultimate importance of free will; and especially on your opinion of how being a ta'veren works.

I also am confident the TV show will minimize the above and focus on Aes Sedai and particularly Moiraine's badassery.

One minor edit needed, Thom's escapades were in the court of Caemlyn, not Cairhien.
