6 10-episode seasons:
- Eye of the World
- Great Hunt/Dragon Reborn
- Shadow Rising
- Fires of Heaven/Lord of Chaos
- Books 7-11
- Tarmon Gaidon trilogy
There are a few things that could be cut. I would cut the entire Shaido plot line, which cuts the Faile captured nonsense. Of course, personally, I'd cut Faile too. Let Perrin get it on with Berelain.
The stupid Far Madding thing is definitely easily cut, and I think the Falme stuff could be condensed easily, especially by leaving out that traveling to the grolm world part. Baerlon could be cut legitimately, but I'd move Min to Caemlyn (which shouldn't have been cut).
Most of the non-Shaido Fremen Aiel stuff is important, as is Callandor. The Tower split could be done in a far more expedited fashion.
These are all easy decisions; no one bothered to make them, though.
