The campy parts of this movie were even campier than Ragnarok. Grandmaster and Hela were suitably campy to fit in the Ragnarok story. Christian Bale killed it, but his extremely dark character didn't fit in the story.

No comments on Raimi I guess. I don't think Marvel directors have the kind of creative control that would allow them to fix a bad script, so I don't blame him. I generally like his stuff.
