Trump lunging at a secret service officer, for one. The officer himself came out to say it never happened.


Did he now? Under oath, like Cassidy Hutchinson was? Because tweets have no obligation to be honest, so I'm not obliged to believe anything seen on Twitter. He's been invited to give his statement in a deposition, which he has refused to do...
But that doesn’t matter, right, because someone heard it did from Trump’s uncle’s hairdresser’s cousin’s dogwalker.

We now have a cop who says he saw the altercation, and evidence the Secret Service deleted texts from that day. So it would matter if it was true.
You call it a straw man but it’s not - it’s literally what you’re saying when you’re calling it an insurrection. That’s what an insurrection is you entire box of tools.

An insurrection is defined as "a violent uprising against an authority or government". Success or failure is immaterial to the definitely. Was there an uprising against the government that day? I don't see how not. Was there violence, both threatened and used? Yes, with massive quantities of photographic and videographic evidence. How's this not an insurrection again?
