This is exactly how checks and balances are supposed to work. The Supreme Court does not have unlimited power. Not when people exercise their privilege to vote.
That is all nice to say if the right to vote isn't curtailed. Kansas was an excellent example of attempting just that. That it didn't have the desired outcome doesn't change the moral reprehensibility of trying to keep voters from giving their voice on an issue of this importance.
But that's the GOP. I have no respect for those Democrats who want to go down in the gutter with their rival party.
