Very much so.
He plays a cloned emperor which has 3 living iterations.
The young one in training is Brother Dawn.
The ruling one in his prime is Brother Day and played by Lee Pace.
Brother Dusk has some special tasks.
Every few episodes the timeline jumps so previous Dawn is now Day and so on. So he plays different versions of the same character
But Lee Pace was waisted with Ronin the Accuser in that Marvel Movie. He did a good job considering the script, but he could have been so much more as a character.
Just imagine him as Stryfe from the X-Men, the flamboyant gay guy who lives for drama, wears too many knives, and judges all of reality for he had a horrible childhood and thus he is going to punish his parents who do not know him due to time travel. A time traveling brat who quotes Shakespeare and pulls telekinetic feats that are similar to Magneto or his mother Jean Grey,
Lee can also play Cable, the twin brother / clone of Stryfe who is literally Arnold Schwarzenegger from the Terminator, with lots of bit guns and a glowing eye here to save the future from his brother and everyone else who may mess up the present.

A waste!
And Marvel movies themselves are often bad, but they help the popcorn industry.
