Because I was talking about his wishes, not the Hallmark bullshit the doctors responded with. Who the fuck do they think they are, to tell him what his priorities should be? The fact that he is conscious and capable of communicating pretty much conveys to normal people that they are alive, without needing the input of the bitches of Big Pharma and the Insurance Industry. For normal people, once you have one priority ascertained, you go to the next one. The clear line of thought here is "Okay, I'm alive. Did we win?" And the doctors are congratulating themselves for pointless posturing.
Not to mention, that whole stupid response is only news because they can't answer him, because he is, so far, the only demonstrable MAN to have set foot on that field Monday night.
I would really like to understand the line of thought by which you think that alleged comeback by the doctors invalidates my point.
