The constitution says nothing about a felon not being able to run for president. The Shrike Send a noteboard - 28/08/2023 06:30:46 PM

X and Tik Tok are filling up with posts from bruthas living the thug life lauding The Donald as, "my n***a" and vowing to vote for a man with a rap sheet and a mug shot. The Gs love the thousand yard stare. These are not just black Republicans. I saw one video urging others to vote for Trump to fuck up a system that consistently fucks with them. Another said if he's convicted but can still run, he and everyone he knows will definitely be voting for him.

If these prosecutions don't result in a felony conviction that precludes him from running, get prepared for Trump: The Sequel. The backlash is real.

So Trump the convicted felon could both run, and win, in 2024. Even as a felon. Now I think he might also be able to pardon himself from federal offenses. But not state offenses. So then the question becomes can a president serve from jail (probably could). And would Congress be so embarrassed by all this that they both impeach and convict him, thus enabling his VP to become President. So then watch for who he selects as his VP. Because that person could very well be President in 2025.
