Was a bit high and a bit drunk. Talking—or in this case writing—is like pooping; best to let it out.

It might explain a lot, no? Is it a shit QC problem?

Explain what? The state of the world? Why people have to suffer? We have free will, no? It wouldn't be very free if we could not stretch towards the depths of Hell itself.

Maybe God just has a dark sense of humor. He must have a sense of humor, Shirley. Was he ever funny in the Bible? I don’t recall. Probably not in the OT.

Well, there was the time Elisha was mocked by young lads for being bald and God sent two bears to maul them.

And let's not forget when God allowed Satan to goad him into letting Satan ruin Job's life to test his faith. He lost his wife, kids, fortune, and health. His reward? A brand new family and new wealth. Like you can just swap one with the other and all is fair

Or how about Adam and Eve and the Tree of Knowledge. I will create a being in my image and imbue that being with curiosity and free will. Then I'll put him in a garden and tell him "DON'T EAT FROM THIS TREE!" Then when he- inevitably- eats from the damned tree, I'll get mad at him and curse him and all of his children forevermore.

I don't know about you, but you have to have a certain gallows humor to appreciate this.

Oh, and don't call me Shirley.

Late summer barbecues are awesome. Fresh corn straight from my friend’s yard, cooked right after getting picked. He’s got to go in for a triple bypass soon. It’s put me in a funny mood. I’ve probably had one too many. Did I have an edible?

Perhaps you would benefit from partaking in the Eleusinian Mysteries. Try the wine, it will take you right to God.
