I haven't watched any of House of the Dragon because I hated GOT so much (I also hated books 4 and 5). I also haven't read any of the prequels out of anger at GRRM's willingness to do anything other than finish a series he left off well over a decade ago.
My attitude has been basically fuck GRRM and anything else he writes and produces. But is HOTD is that good, maybe I should reconsider.

But, yeah. I like HotD a lot better than the source material, and I almost never do. Expanse season 3 is another such exception.
