I simply don't share Greg and Tom's near-certainty that Trump will easily sail to victory. I think we are going to begin to see severe psychiatric repercussions from the assassination attempt. I think we have begun to see them already. I'm not gleeful over that, but the fact of the matter is that people who are shot at, especially people who are shot at and hit, are extremely likely to develop PTSD.

And I can't imagine Trump regularly sees a therapist.


Are you basing my views on how badly Trump was going to defeat Biden and then transposing them to how I think Trump will do against Harris? Do I think Trump will still beat Harris? Yes, but not by as huge a margin. It will be far closer. Harris has far too much baggage that she carries with her as part of the Biden-Harris administration. She is a younger candidate, so the age part no longer can be used against the D candidate and will now be hypocritically used by a media who was protecting Biden previously. But everything else remains the same. Oh except for the part that Scranton Joe could play into the blue collar theme and Harris definitely cannot.
