From an outsider perspective - no doubt American Democratic voters and certainly elected politicians see it differently - I've long thought that it's really unhealthy to have such extreme racial disparities in the Democratic and Republican voter base.
It would, of course, be rather sad if it took an execrable leader like Trump to attract more Hispanic and Black voters to the Republican party, but still, the change in itself would be a good thing.
