He and the late Ray Stevenson were both believable as Frank Castigleone.
As far as the movie, The Accountant worked for me on multiple levels. I have an autistic grandchild, so the portrayal of neurodivergent characters struck me as both realistic and sympathetic.
Second, I have a weakness for stories with the knight errant, ronin samurai archetype, as clearly illustrated by my fondness for the Reacher novels. And before that, for the Spenser/Hawk books. Christian Wolffe is the same. Someone who exists outside the law but who adheres to his own rigid moral code. Right up my alley.
The family theme also resonated with me. It was cool that Braxton, who while younger served as his big brother's protector whern they were kids, has been surpassed as an adult.
Reassure me that the sequel preserves some of this and doesn't merely try to out John Wick the original.
