Weirdly it was episode 4(?) of this season and your recap that made me stop hatewatching it and move on.
There was genuinely something cathartic about a faithful, decently acted adaptation of a pivotal WoT scene getting a fair and positive review from someone who has been in the community for 30~ years. But ultimately that was all the closure I needed to give up my bitterness. The show could have been good if they'd even tried to stick to the source material and that episode was proof. That was all I needed in the end, I think.
I'm glad it's dead, as a piece of art it had almost no redeeming quality. But, it did provided some excellent WoT related content for this tiny, forgotten corner of the internet, which has continued on longer than it has had any right to, and probably won't be around this time next year. So, all in all, I can't have any complaints. Bezos has spent money on worse things than keeping the ghost of Wotmania sustained for a bit longer.
I'm Israel, he's Palestine, its more fun when you pick sides.
