There are a few things that would probably "fix" health care in the US:

1. Allow Americans to purchase Medicare if they cannot get private insurance
2. Allow insurance to be sold across state lines
3. Decouple insurance with employment
4. Force hospitals and other health care providers to charge the same cost to everyone, insurance or not, and permit insurance companies to collectively negotiate rates for everything, with rates prominently displayed and transparent
5. Trump's most favored nations drug cost helped lower drug prices but should apply to everything in health care, like equipment and procedures
