"Amelia" was a purple-haired girl in a game who was a "right-wing extremist", and the kids playing the game were told by Big Brother (this game was produced by the government of Airstrip One) that by supporting Amelia they could be reported for thoughtcrime.
This led Amelia to become a new Internet hero for the right, predictably.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
