The terrace is a large stone area, high enough to see over the walls that surround the estate. From here it can be seen that the house lies under the shadow of Shayol Ghul and, while it is never light, it is never dark either. For the mountain gives off an ominous light of its own.

Stairs lead down from the terrace into a walled garden.
