Bekkar had watched the two cloaked men walk into Revin's room, and he had not moved from his seated position in front of her room. After they had left, he stood and returned to his room to get the few hours of sleep he needed.

In the morning, Bekkar belted his sword on, and moved one of his knives to where it would be more visible at his side. It was past time to be secretive.

When he walked into the main hall, Vadin had just finished his little speech. Bekkar could not help but shake his head. Did the fool really think that any of them, Darkfriends all, would help him?

He leaned against the same wall he had the day before, watching quietly, as he always had.
