But the enforcer in question, reeling from a nasty gash to the stomach inflicted by a deft slash from Sammil's knife, is not paying any attention to his allies' good advice. Instead, he holds a hand across his wound, blood seeping through his fingers, and raises his eyes to stare at you hatefully. "Light-blasted Darkfriends. I'll kill you, I'll kill the bloody tainted lot of you!" His colleagues share a concerned look.

Still, a wild attack from his cudgel barely flies over Sammil's head as he ducks low, and Tian barely has time to raise his shield arm to absorb the brunt of a second swipe, as the blow knocks him into the wall, his skull ringing from its impact with the damp stone. The other two surviving enforcers seize on the opportunity to lunge forward as well, a disoriented Tian taking another blow while Sammil desperately fends off the guards' attacks.
