history: Leasel was born at the start of the war of the shadow. her father was called up when she was three but died in action. his fancloth battle cape was given to her then. she and mother lived for several years in a Forsaken held territory but managed to escape and got taken in by some Aes Sedai.

Four years into the breaking, Leasel's mother died when one of the Hundred Companions went on a rampage through the town, flattening it. with the last of her family dead Leasel turned bandit and joined a small group, where she learned tracking skills and how to fight. she was left behind at a small town to recuperate after breaking her arm and a few ribs after being attacked by a rival group. she was tended by a friend but he vanished three weeks later.
