Well, FT did it for a reason, and I wouldn't be surprised if that meant we had some non-standard roles for the town. I will go ahead and save you and BA the time of considering if this is an all vanilla game, its not, I'm roled, and it is not what we'd call a standard town role, whether cocktail, one shot, anti-town (miller, RBer, flawed investigator), or generally bizarreness I won't detail at this time. Just not a basic small game town role. I can't imagine that really elevates the odds of being NK'd much, for me at least, I'm basically de facto primary target anyway, so best to just get it out of the way and spare one of our other roled players having to stick their neck out.

Realistically, it may make the DFs braver with their claims and that could hurt or help them, we'll see, but we typically don't bag fake claims because of prior dead claims, barring WF a few games back, so it changes little there. Really, I'm betting strongly on a role-repeat, e.g. two trackers, one claims, the other counter-claims, we whack one, they die town but not confirmed, so we whack the other, doesn't matter which one we go with, claim or counter-claim, same results. That would be our default move. We'd also whack millers, roleblockers, etc, and I think FT would be more likely to include those as town roles, and we'd never know they were telling the truth to expect it later.

No, we can ask people for RCs prior to lynching of course, we need to, but we also have to not view those claims as particular relevant until mass claim happens, we don't want anyone to have to feel obliged to lie to get out of a lynch. When the time comes for mass claim, day 3 or 4 (we are only 12, so shorter game) we need to randomly pick an order, then do something like this:

All players reveal either 'have or don't have night action', don't have being vanillas, masons without roles, passive night actions

Once that's done, the night actors reveal in order who they targeted, but not the result or action, for each night, then action and results. Or something similiar, we may want to bounce the method for a better one on the spot or just to shake up an pre-conceived plans, if we do this on day 3 or 4, I think we have a good chance of exposing inconsistencies.
