While they were speaking, Boras came upon a human child. Grabbing him, Boras lifted him under one arm like a sack of flour.

"Brother! Look what I found in the kitchen!"

"Put him down, brother. Young one, we will wait on your answer while we hear why this child is here alone." He turned to the child and put a smile across his wide face. "Hello child, are you here alone or do you have others with you?"
