Why on Earth, if your role was as an investigator and it mentioned ninjas as part of that, presumably "Can investigate someone to find out if they are a ninja" or such, would you be surprised mine didn't mention it? Anyway we'll get back to this in a moment...

... first, whenever people do something dishonest from a town POV it seems to invariably backfire, so on top of our understandably not trusting people for the dishonesty itself, it tends to get frowned on. I don't think anyone has ever nabbed me in a trap as a DF. You say you did this to give cover for roles, figuring the scum might believe it as nobody died roled, if true, didn't it occur to you how likely it was a role like myself would move to stop that? And what would it accomplish? So the scummers buy a vanilla game, unlikely, and if they have a role, which they usually do, they will all know at twilight that its not all vanilla. "Huh, I'm a DF roleblocker, I wonder if there are any roles in this game?" No, probably not a good plan. And if they did buy it, because they were all standard goons, what then? Nobody RC's or admits to being a role on day 1 or 2 unless they have to. Changed nothing for me though, running the odds, if the DFs thought this was definitely a vanilla game I can make a pretty educated guess on who'd they'd target.

Now, back to your claim. This is a twelve person game, we have at most two investigatory roles and your claiming one. And its a 'safe claim', because you're not specifically claiming to be the cop or the tracker, heck no role reveal might even mean, as I suggested earlier, that we have doubling up of roles. But its a safe claim because it can't be refuted if you're really a ninja. Our cop can hardly come out now and say "BA's lying, I am" because that player would be exposing themself for something that's not a real refutation, since you're not claiming cop.

Now the final bit, your last few messages you've been saying you thought I was town because of my early comments, that's a lie, because you outright tried to label me scum as recently as two days ago and some of the explanations you're putting forward for your actions don't jibe with that ...
