Katie and Yuna both confirm getting something from the treasure, DK died before it came up and Yuna lived and posted it in her RC. ?, our alternate candidate, was the third in that pack, and if you remember, I asked all three about their trip

But it was pretty much the same as Yunalesca's. There was this thing about how the treasure was in the cave and we had to wait for the tide to go out...

Now neither admitted, nor would we expect them to, that they'd gotten some special loot, but Yunalesca claimed hers yesterday and ? claimed vanilla. This would be a death sentence for most players but he's new so maybe not. Yunalesca didn't tell us where her powers came form, but she did tell us what it was and how it works, and it matches her previous comments, another point in her favor.

This brings up two other points of note:

1) We still should assume the ninjas wanted to have someone on that treasure hunt, initially, and this is one of the reasons I wanted to RB one on night 1, I figured if they hadn't actively voted for someone then it would only be because they'd either got scared off or it got done for them. Voting for one's self is not suspicious, voting for someone else is. Two of the people who went were selected first by BA - confirmed townie, and second by me, confirmed random vote. Kronin voted for DK, a townie, but she was the las ton the list so its believable that by then he saw ? and Yuna going, one was an ally, and he decided to vote elsewhere... Fox did, he voted for me, bringing up point 2

2) Fox did defend Kronin, but he also defended and supported someone else... me. Whatever his motives for doing so, and there are several options, they could as easily apply to Kronin, and that reduces the likelihood its him. We know he was making an effort to post semi-positive things about a townie, why not two?

If Fox voted for someone who wasn't a DF, and clearly wasn't going, it may just be a quirk or it may be he didn't want any of his allies to go, but at the time of his vote the people going were pretty much locked in. We know DK isn't a ninja, we have lots of reasons to think Yuna isn't, that's just leaves ?

So, as mentioned, the two people I viewed as best lynch prospect are Kronin and ?, Kronin flipped into the deeper territory with the Fox Defense, but that seems less potent to me now and ? looks more questionable, pardon the pun. Even beyond the other aspects, with DK and Yuna safely town, and with it seeming so unlikely the scummers would ignore that option, it makes me think ? is a good candidate.

Then there's also Fox's last minute vote for ?, I initially dismissed that as a likely 'take you down with me' vote, but that's because that's how I'd do it. I'd never draw attention to an ally of mine that places them in a WIFOM... "50/50 Isaac voted for X because he wants him dead or he wants us to think so, or he wants us to think he wants us to think... etc" but you never want an ally in a WIFOM, because 50/50 scum is worth killing since a 50/50 ratio of scum to town is scum victory. You find someone at 50/50, you lop there head off unless you have a better candidate, because the default guilt level is lower. But Fox isn't me, so it's a big jump to assume he wouldn't WIFOM an ally.

So, that's my thinking at the moment, since we have some inertia going again, no rush to vote for either, nor am I lifting Kronin from my suspect list, but I'd like to hear more from ?
